Andrew Edem Fiati is Business Development Manager with the Performance Materials Business of BASF SE, a German chemical company and the largest chemical producer in the world with more than 122,000 employees worldwide. As a member of the Board of Trustees of the Organization for the Technology Advancement of Cold Chain in West Africa, he has been active in promoting the benefits of an effective Cold Chain in the regional food system as a way of reducing post-harvest losses and contributing to food security. Previously, Mr. Fiati has held a range of Management Positions in large Chemical, Mining and Automotive companies. Mr. Fiati holds a Bsc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and an MBA from the Assumption University, Thailand.
Rotimi Adeaga is the Chief Operating Officer of ROVISA VENTURES, a Print, Packaging and Procurement outfit in Lagos and a Faculty member of Print Academy LTD.
Her journey into the print industry dates back to the 80s when as a child she and her siblings helped out often in her late father’s Printing Press, a business her father ran alongside his secular work as a school principal.
After her over 15 years in the corporate world where she practiced her Accounting and Finance Profession, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an entrepreneur in 2011 and began offering procurement services to her client. These demands eventually grew ROVISA VENTURES from just a Procurement company to one that meets printing and packaging needs and carving a niche for the company with the inclusion of Paper Architecture and Origami.
Rotimi is a graduate of Accounting from Kwara State Polytechnic and an alumnus of The Business School, Netherlands who is passionate about delivering quality print and branding services locally and contributing to the development of young talents in the industry.
When she is not doing Prints, she supports children and teenager in skill acquisition and self - development in the various bodies she belongs to.
Dr Akintayo Adisa is a chemical scientist by training with over 15 years' experience in the chemical Industry.
He joined BASF West Africa in 2013 and has held various positions such as Business Development manager, Managing Director Zambia and Business Development Manager, Southern Africa.
In his recent role as Manager, Senior Projects Sustainability, he is responsible for the Waste-2-Chemicals Project Nigeria which seeks to:
Design and deploy a scalable model to aggregate and sort at micro level plastic waste from the streets of Lagos; Leverage off the shelf cost effective, pyrolysis technology to regenerate original crude oil content from sorted plastic waste into a potential chemical building blocks and Enable a circular economy by re-engaging those chemical building blocks in BASF value chains (After potential co-processing or direct swap against cracker feeds).
Mr Ajai is an Engineer by profession and has a rich experience of over 28 years of running Industries. He has been associated with Sona Group working in Nigeria for 23 years. His core expertise is in running and managing industries in the areas like Food, Packaging & Plastics. He is a Senior Management person in Sona Group responsible for putting the focus on using local ingredients to add value to the Nigerian economy.
Dr. Emmanuel Sunday Urang is holds B.Sc. (Hons.) Crop Science, M.Sc (Social Work & Community Development) of Rivers State University, Port Harcourt and Ph.D in Rural Sociology and Development of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State. He had served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Employment Generation and Empowerment, Office of the Head of Service (in charge of Policy & Strategy and later Service Welfare) and Establishment Training, & Pensions Bureau. He is presently in the Ministry of Environment.
He has attended a number of Local and International conferences and workshops including the Fourth Session of United Nations Environment Assembly in Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Urang has a number of publications in both Local and International journals. He is married with four (4) children.
Omobolanle Olowu is an environmental management specialist, with over two years of experience in the waste management sector with focus on recycling. She currently leads the Business development team at Wecyclers Nigeria Limited where she’s responsible for driving strategic partnerships and innovation that have direct impact on the environment and communities in Lagos, Nigeria where Wecyclers is operational in. She has successfully handled recycling partnerships with major financial institutions and industries in Nigeria.
Mr. Walter Jungwirth has been working with Engel for 41 years, and is currently acting as Engel President for METAI Region (Middle East, Turkey, Africa and India)
He joined the Austria-based machinery and robot manufacturer in 1978, and the following year, made his first trip to Mexico.
Jungwirth has served in a number of positions at Engel, based in Schwertberg, Austria, including executive vice president of sales and marketing, president of the press-maker's North American operations, leader of the global business unit for packaging and global business developer.
Solomon holds a PhD in Food Science and Technology and a Diploma in Packaging Technology. Solomon has been involved in the Fast Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) sector in the food, personal care and household industries. He possesses excellent experience in products development statistical methods and consumer research.
Solomon has been involved in several new products launches in the African Market. He is a member of the following professional bodies: Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), UK; Institute of Packaging, Nigeria; and Nigerian Institute of Food science and Technology. Solomon currently works as a Packaging Manager in Promasidor Nigeria Limited, where he is involved in Packaging Development. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Mories has a degree in Law, an MBA, a Certificate in Strategy – Innovating for Sustainability, a Certificate in Strategic Planning, a Certificate in GRI G4, and a Certificate in CDC – Climate Change and HSE 1 – 3. She currently serves as a Senior manger in the Sustainability & Climate Change division of the Governance, Risk & Compliance Unit of PwC where she also drives developing plans, aligning strategy and in building business network. She has led several initiatives associated with project management and firm strategy both in her past career in EY and in PwC.
She is a fellowship member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), American Society of International Lawyers (ASIL) as well as Informal Sustainability Groups. Mories is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School (HBS) as well as London School of Business & Finance (LSBF).
Bunmi Obanawu is the Senior Progammes and Communications Manager at Fight Against Desert Encroachment (FADE) Africa, a non-governmental organization that seeks to proffer solution to environmental degradation issues across Africa. Before she joined FADE, Bunmi was the producer of two weekly shows on TVC News, namely; A Woman’s World and Green Angle.
She has a Masters in International Journalism from Brunel Univeristy and a B.Sc in Mass Communication from Covenant University.
Bunmi is also the co-founder of African Arts and Media for Earth Initiative (AAMEI). AAMEI is a movement that trains and equips young people to tell environmental stories better using art or various media platforms in their communities.
She is most passionate about issues around the environment particularly land related activities and gender equality. During her downtime, Bunmi enjoys eating, dancing and swimming.
A holder of B.Sc (1999) and M.Sc (2004) in Geography and Environmental Resources Management respectively from the Lagos State University, Nigeria One of the 115 Young Africa Leaders that met with the US president Barack Obama at the white house in Washington DC between August 3-5th 2010.
A renowned environmental consultant with several years of broad-range experience in the industry, he is presently the, Executive Director RecyclePoints Nigeria, Executive Director: Sustainable Waste Recycling Community of Nigeria, and CEO/MD Taiwo Adewole and Associates.
He is presently one of the Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government on International and Environmental matters.
Dr Seun Obasanjo is the Managing Director of Tempo Paper Pulp and Packaging, Nigeria, manufacturers of flexible films Bi-axial Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) & Cast Polypropylene (CPP) films) and corrugated paper cartons.
He started the flexible division from green field to its current position as the largest and first in West Africa. He also initiated the backward integration of the corrugated paper plant to produce testliner and flute paper using recycled paper which is used by Tempo as raw material and the rest sold to other companies. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Cambridge University where he attained his MPhil and PhD degrees in Electronics Engineering.

Chima Igwe was born 57 years ago, a Nigerian! He is an old boy of Danfodio Road Primary School and Sacred Heart College all in Aba, South East-Nigeria.

Chima Igwe is an organic/natural products chemist with a broad and wide range of experience in natural products extraction, isolation and structural elucidation techniques.
He has an excellent knowledge in industry-driven and bioassay-guided Research and Development in the extraction and isolation of essential oils, fats, flavours, fragrances, sweeteners, colours, emulsifiers, stabilizers and bioactive compounds/ plant metabolites from natural sources.
He has a wide-range of experience in products and process development.
Chima Igwe joined FIIRO in July, 1991 as a Research Officer I and rose through the ranks to become the Director, Chemical, Fibre and Environmental Technology Department in June, 2010. He was appointed Ag. DG/CEO effective 13th May,2019. He is involved in management, policy-making and implementation in various areas of the Science, technology and Innovation processes.

Professor Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye was appointed on the 3rd of November 2017 by the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria as the Director-General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
Prof. Adeyeye, before her present appointment, was the founding Chair of Biopharmaceutical Sciences and Professor of Pharmaceutics and Drug Product Evaluation at the College of Pharmacy, Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, Illinois, where she spent 7 years. She was Professor of Pharmaceutics and Manufacturing for 21 years at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA , USA. She is Senior Fulbright Scholar and Specialist and 2008 AAPS Fellow. Professor Adeyeye is Fellow of Nigerian Academy of Science and Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy.
She earned her B.Pharm degree from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria and MS and PhD from University of Georgia, Athens, GA, USA. Her research interests include pre-formulation, early phase development of solid, semisolid and liquid dosage forms, and IND-based and intellectual property-driven late phase drug product development.

He's worked for multinationals in Nigeria such as Cadbury (Mondelz) Nigeria Plc where he worked across the Manufacturing landscape,(1994 – 2009). Engineering and Project management & Unilever Nigeria Plc also as Company Engineering Manager with responsibility for Managing Engineering Services, Maintenance, Projects, Safety, Sustainability & Capex, (2009 – 2014).
He joined Bosch Dec. 2014 as Sales Director Packaging Technology Division - West Africa with overall responsibility for developing Packaging Technology business in West and and Central Africa covering 20 countries.

Professor Aliyu Jauro is the current Director General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency, NESREA. Prior to his appointment in February 2019 Professor Jauro was Deputy Director and Head of Research at the National Centre for Petroleum Research and Development (NCPRD) at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, (A.T.B.U) Bauchi.
He holds a Bachelor of Tech. Degree in Industrial Chemistry from A.T.B.U Bauchi and MSc and PhD Degrees in Industrial Chemistry from the same University. He joined the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University as a Graduate Assistant in 1997 and rose through the ranks to Professor of Industrial Chemistry in 2014. Professor Aliyu Jauro had won the German Academic Exchange Scholarship (DAAD) and the European Association of Organic Geochemists (EAOG) Travel Grant in 2005. His current role sees him responsible for Sasol’s Base Chemical’s Polymer sales into the African continent. His responsibilities include the marketing and sales of polymers from Sasol’s assets in South Africa and as well as from the Lake Charles Chemicals Project in the USA.
Ada is a Director in the Disruption practice with over 20 years’ experience as a Business/IT professional across multiple verticals.

Kruben Pillay is a Senior Manager, Global Plastics Sustainability at Sasol Base Chemicals. Kruben holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.,) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Natal.
During his 15 years at Sasol, Kruben has had the opportunity to work on various projects in research and sustainability analysis, capital projects and play a leading role in interdisciplinary strategic environmental centric roadmap studies. A full time certified HSE consultant who holds a NEBOSH-IGC, ISPON-H.S.E. 1, 2 & 3, ISO Lead Auditor Certification in 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) and 9001 (Quality management system) and others.
Currently, she’s the Director of Programmes with International Climate Change Development Initiative where she designs and plans of programs towards climate change communication and education.
SEGUN AJAYI-KADIR holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University and a B.Sc. in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University.
He worked in the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and served as Executive Secretary of the North West/ South East Branch and the Ikeja Branch of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria. He later became the Director of the liaison office, Abuja and the Director Fields Service Department of the Association. It is from this highly challenging function and based on his exceptional performance, that he was appointed Director General of the Association.
He serves at various Federal Government Committees, Councils and Boards, including Tariff Technical Committee, National Focal Point on Trade Matters, Industrial Training Fund etc.
He has undergone several trainings from notable organizations like: United Nations Development Organization (UNIDO), PAN-African University (Lagos Business School), The Centre for International Private Enterprise, Washington D. C. and many more.
