Amith Sukhnundan is the Head of the Markem-Imaje Division at SBA Group.
SBA Group is the official partner for Markem-Imaje for food and beverage markets supplying high-quality coding systems for all FMCG manufacturers in Nigeria.
Amith has 20 years of experience in the printing and packaging industry, working in various roles from Technical to National Sales Manager.
He has advanced knowledge and experience in all printing methods (Lithography, screen printing, flexographic printing, gravure, and digital printing), covering all types of substrates (Carton board, paper, flexible packaging, rigid plastics, cans, and glass) and graphic design. Amith has a high level of experience in packaging machinery (machine automation, robotics, line engineering, upstream and downstream processing, form fill and sealing equipment, and complete bottling lines and canning lines).
He holds an Advanced Diploma in Packaging Technology since 2013, One-Year Diploma in Packaging Technology (OYD) in 2006, and a Diploma in Paper Merchanting and Printing in 2005. He is presently studying at the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IOPP USA) for Certified Packaging Professional (CPP).
Amith has served as the Chairman of the Institute of Packaging South Africa (IPSA) (Northern Region) since 2015 and he currently lectures the various courses offered by the Institute in addition to being the examiner and moderator.
