Dr. Austin Okpagu is a highly experienced leader in Nigeria's FinTech industry, with over a decade in payment and FinTech services. He is currently the Country Director for Verto in Nigeria, responsible for strategic growth and operational excellence. Prior to this, Austin was Managing Director/CEO of JumiaPay, the fintech arm of Jumia in Nigeria, and held leadership roles in growth and strategy, and consumer business. His earlier career includes significant contributions at OPay, where he focused on business development and corporate partnerships, and at Paga, where he specialized in business development and partnership liaison. Austin holds a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Organisational Psychology from the University of Nigeria
