Sujan Mohinani leads Business Development for the Flexibles division at Sonnex Packaging Nigeria, which specializes in high-quality laminates and pouches for leading multinationals across sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining Sonnex, he spent eight years in enterprise-technology at Twilio (NYSE: TWLO), experience he now channels into packaging R&D and market insights. Established in 2000, Sonnex belongs to the Mohinani Group—a West African industrial conglomerate founded in 1966—and today operates three packaging pillars: food-grade flexible films; injection-moulded PET preforms, containers, and closures; and Nigeria’s first integrated bottle-to-bottle rPET recycling plant. Sujan’s cross-disciplinary background positions him to fuse materials science with digital innovation for Africa’s next generation of sustainable packaging.
