Sarsoli Industries is a plastic masterbatch manufacturing company that started operations in 2011 and is the first masterbatch manufacturing company in Nigeria. Sarsoli is based in Lagos.

Plastic master batches are the granules mixed with plastic raw material in the percentage of 2-4% to bring out the colours in the finished products. Plastic Industries produce products like Jerry Cans, Shopping bags, chairs, tables, buckets, sacks, mats etc.

To produce master batches there are nearly 20 different ingredients used to get different coloured master batches. Nearly 40% of these ingredients are imported from different parts of the Globe like, India, China, Egypt, Germany, US, Belgium, Korea etc.

Plastic Industry is one of the largest industry in the country. We supply companies such as Forte Oil, PZ, BAGCO, Dangote, KGM, Celplas industries, Leoplast, Shonghai, Lotus Plastics, Mammuda Industries, Ammasco and many more with different coloured masterbatches. Before we started this company, we were importing masterbatches from Korea. While importing we were having only 18-20 different colours. Now, we manufacture plastic colour masterbatches locally and have more than 1,000 different colours and shades for our customers.

We have state of the art machines and we keep on improving on the technology and capacity. We have experts working not only keep quality as the priority but also give constant training programs to the locals.

Being the first of the kind in the country we set the standards along with SON institution.

We are active members in MAN, SON, LASEPA, NACCIMA, NEPC, LCCI, NAFDAC and many more reputable institutions.

Founder and Chairman of Sarsoli Industries is Mr Chandru Changrani.

Mr Jaiprakash Changrani is the Managing Director. Before starting Sarsoli Industries in 2011, Mr. Changrani played a key role in setting up Performs and Cap manufacturing for Prima Corporation in 2005. In the span of 5 years, Prima Corporation became the largest producers of performs and caps in Nigeria. Mr. Changrani was also the Director of Classic Beverages, the producers of “La Casera”, and his inputs helped make La Casera number one in PET bottle drinks.

In Sarsoli, his role involves making sure customers are satisfied with quality services at competitive prices. Even though we produce in Lagos, but we have distribution centers across Nigeria where any plastic industry can pick up even one bag. That is the availability of the product we give from Lagos-Katsina-Maidugiri-Calabar, basically throughout Nigeria.

Our focus is to encourage local plastic industries and compete with imports which is happening from Korea, Turkey, Egypt, China and India. With local production always there is increase of employment and technical empowerment. The economy is not solely dependent on oil only.  Country saves foreign exchange in local production.

We exhibit Made in Nigeria products in all the exhibitions throughout West Africa in joint collaboration with NEPC.

In 2013, Sarsoli was the first company from West Africa to exhibit at the K fair, Dusseldorf, Germany. This is the largest plastic industry fair in the world and we will not miss on this exciting opportunity to showcase our products on this platform. This was repeated in 2016, 2019 and again in October 2022 will be exhibiting.

This is our fourth time exhibiting at K, and we will continue to look forward to the innovation the fair continues to bring. Exhibiting at K proves that we are conscious of producing quality products and are on par with some of the leaders in the plastics industry. Also being at K fair we get first-hand information on new technology introduction.

When we first exhibited at K 2013, we were not exporting our master batches because there was no demand for it yet. However, after our exhibition neighboring countries of Nigeria in West Africa started to show interest in our products and we started exporting in 2014. We have now expanded Sarsoli Industries to Ghana and currently have an office there. K has been instrumental in helping us expand to our target demographic across West Africa.

Our focus is to be available in West Africa as within ECOWAS there is zero import duty hence our product will be cheaper compared to importing from elsewhere. Also within ECOWAS it can be supplied in the shortest possible time. Foreign exchange income is generated by exports.

Recently, we have started a new project of producing very high quality CaCo3 powder which we were importing earlier from Turkey and Egypt. This product is part of our raw materials for master batches. Any excess production, we sell to plastic industries in Nigeria. Hence this is again savings of foreign exchange for the country.
